We are part of a transcultural transdisciplinary community of artists and public. We co-sponsored with The Clemente performances of Mexico’s ContempoDanza in December 2015. DeGarmo will co-create and perform a duet with dancer and choreographer Isabel Beteta, Mexico National Institute of Fine Arts’ 2016 Medallion Awardee, in 2017. Other long-standing partnerships and co-sponsorships since 1994 include international Mayan music and dance cultural rescue and preservation projects with Grupo Cultural Uk’Ux Pop Wuj from Guatemala.
