Gregory Kirsopp currently serves as Director of Legislative Affairs for the New York City Department of Correction. He is a Founding Partner of Premier Strategies, Inc., recognized by City & State Magazine as one of New York State’s top 100 consulting firms. He has been named to Brooklyn’s Power List by Schneps Media three years in a row for his continued legislative and advocacy work across the borough. Gregory attended John Jay College (CUNY), where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government.
He is a former Chief of Staff in the New York State Assembly and previously served as Assistant Political Director of the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce, where he remains the youngest board member ever elected to the Chamber’s Board of Directors. Gregory also serves on the Young Professionals Board of both the Association for a Better New York (ABNY) and of the Urban Justice Center (UJC). He has worked in executive roles in, both, the public and private sectors, as well as positions in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the New York City Council.
He brings a repertoire of government and legislative as well as corporate communications experience to his professional endeavors. Gregory’s expertise and strategic leadership have left an indelible mark on the intersection of government, business, and advocacy, exemplifying a dedication to excellence that continues to drive positive change.
