Maggie Fischer is a dancer and teaching artist with over a decade of experience teaching dance in all different disciplines and settings. Maggie spent two years with Haraka Center for Movement Arts in Kuwait teaching dance for all levels and creating and implementing the Center’s first jazz and tap curriculum as well as performing with the professional offshoot, Haraka Project. In New York City Maggie has worked with students in public schools from kindergarten to high school with a focus on student-led creativity and choreography.
Maggie also dances with Catherine Tharin, JKing Dance Company, DoubleTake Dance, and others as well as performing and creating her own choreography. Maggie holds a BFA in Dance, summa cum laude, from George Mason University School of Dance.
