Mara Neary is a dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist. Mara grew up training in ballet, contemporary, modern, and jazz at Studio West Dance Academy under the direction of Stephanie Ennett-Wood and Marianna Ramsour. Mara then went on to graduate summa cum laude from Gonzaga University with a B.A. in Dance and Psychology. She is a freelance dancer in New York City and has done projects with Peridance Collective, Project III, and Julia Kane Dance Collective. Mara is also a Registered Behavior Technician and does one-on-one therapy with children on the Autism Spectrum. Mara is passionate about increasing the accessibility of dance and dance education, and using it as a tool to help children grow to meet their full potential in whatever ways are meaningful for them.
