Luis Gabriel Zaragoza was born in Mexico City and received his BFA from the National School of Dance of Mexico. He moved to New York City in 2000 and attended the Merce Cunningham Studio. He danced with several companies in France and Mexico. In New York he danced with Martha Graham Ensemble, Erika Dankmeyer, Anita Chen, Alan Good and 360 Degree Dance Company. He joined Anna Sokolow’s Players’ Project in 2000 and continued working with the Sokolow Ensemble. He has danced with MDD since 2009.
